Juxtapose - Class Activity

Step 1)
Choose 3 random numbers between 00 - 99.  Match numbers with words given in list No.1 and list No.2.

List 1:

2.Lightening
3.Ice
4.Light
5.Fire
6.Duck
7.Dog

9.Leaves
0.Fly


List 2:
0.Head
9.Rain
8.Wood
7.Tree
6.Spider
5.Root
4.Mountain

My random numbers are: 16 - 68 - 89. So words created are: Flower+Spider, Duck+Wood and Oil+Rain

Step 2)
Make simple, fast and easy statements about two words and draw them.

a) Flower+Spider : There are small spiders on big flowers.



b) The duck is standing on a piece of wood.



c)Oil drops are falling down with the rain.




Step 3)

Draw two combination of words as direct as the viewer would remind only those two at first sight.

Today's class exercise was to combine to animals that we think they cannot survive in their new shape. So I decided to show a giraffe and a fish that never can survive if we combine them. the giraffe needs to breathe in open air and fish needs to stay underwater.
